Why was "Mythic Protocol" rebranded into "Confiction Labs"?
The change from Mythic Protocol was driven primarily from a shift in the scale of our vision. Confiction Labs will be creating multiple Collaborative Entertainment franchises starting with FICT ONE: Occultical. Within that universe, the Mythic Protocol will remain as the name of the vast secretive organization that seeks to contain, study, and battle mythics.
Will RIFTSTORM utilize blockchain technologies?
RIFTSTORM will be the flagship game product that will be connected to and powered by the Confict Data Layer of FICT ONE: Occultical. Other products will be directly tied to or built on systems that will rely on blockchain technologies for security.
What is Confict Data Layer?

What is FICT ONE: Occultical Universe?
FICT ONE: Occultical is the first Collaborative Entertainment franchise of Confiction Labs.
What is XPSR-24?
XPSR-24 is the premier asset collection within the FICT ONE: Occultical universe. The Decentralized Universal Meta Beta (DUMB) records Mythic events across the globe and their consequences. Discover an evolving course of history little known to the public eye.
Are there any hidden costs associated with playing RIFTSTORM due to blockchain technology?
No. RIFTSTORM's monetization, its costs, and transactions will be made aparent to all players.
Since majority of gaming platforms (eq. Steam, PS, and Xbox) don’t allow blockchain games, will Riftstorm be available on these platforms?
RIFTSTORM is not classified as a blockchain game. It is a looter-shooter roguelite ARPG, and its availability on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, and mobile platforms will comply with each platform’s rules and regulations.
Are there Crypto or NFT transactions in the game?
We use blockchain technology mainly for these features: World Consequences Asset Ownership Wrap/Unwrap Mechanics All of this features will not affect in-game experience in any way.
What is World Consequences?
Player actions, such as choices, mythic defeats, and missions, influence the game's world. Important world events are recorded on a blockchain-based database for transparent and scalable world-building. This system allows collective actions to steer the world in different directions.
What is Asset Ownership?
Blockchain technology is used primarily for trade settlement, mitigating issues like item duplication and double-spending.
What is Wrap/Unwrap Mechanics?
Items can be wrapped into NFTs, removing them from in-game use and making them available for trading on the marketplace. To use an item in the game, the NFT must be unwrapped, which destroys the NFT and allows in-game utilization. Wrap/unwrap functionalities are managed through the portal website, outside the game client.
Does XPSR-24 or any blockchain element makes RIFTSTORM pay-to-win?
No. RIFTSTORM is a looter-shooter roguelite ARPG with encourages cooperative gameplay to defeat mythics. A victory for you, is a victory for all.
Does XPSR-24 gives better benefit in RIFTSTORM for those who have it?
XPSR-24 holders will gain access to unique customizations for their Weavers in RIFTSTORM. Fashion is a choice.
Why does XPSR-24 need to be in NFT form?
XPSR-24 is an NFT so that its universal functionality within the FICT ONE: Occultical ecosystem of products can be technologically secured.
